Primary Services for SNF Operators

 

  • Acquisitions – We are experienced in the identification, negotiation and coordination of all due diligence leading to a closing. There are various methods utilized to research and identify the prospective sellers. A unique program we developed includes systematically approaching operators of facilities in defined markets, visiting targeted facilities to meet owners, leaving customized confidential materials when owners are not available and continued follow-up.
  • Due Diligence and Project Coordination - Includes services for Owners/ Operators seeking to sell or refinance facilities. We can produce compliance, financial and operational analyses, which can include preparation of financial forecasts and a RFP to our database of lenders and investors. We have in-depth experience in coordinating accountants, appraisers, attorneys and design teams to close transactions, including working with REITS and HUD-insured financing. We are also experienced as the Owner’s Representative or Construction Manager for new construction and rehabilitation projects, saving you time and money.
  • Marketing and Feasibility Studies, Census and Payer Mix Development – For new and existing underperforming operations, we can conduct and various market and feasibility studies. Utilizing our unique insight with SNFs and hospitals, we increase Medicare and HMO census on a largely contingency basis.  Initially, we conduct a market analyses for existing programs and services from operational, financial, compliance and staffing points of view, and potential new services and special programs. With a background in acute consulting as well, we increase in the involvement of physicians, by specialty, assisting in the admission of higher rehabilitation and higher acuity Medicare patients from which the hospital and SNF both benefit. We also provide community service programs at limited or no cost.
  • Vendor Assessment and RFP - After extensive research, we have developed databases on national and regional industry vendors of all types, from major vendors such as pharmacy or therapy to smaller vendors such as fall prevention equipment. Our database is the most extensive and easy to use that is available and provides substantial cost savings opportunities. Utilizing these sources, we can complete an RFP process to suit your needs for a particular services/product.
  • Compliance and Operational and Compliance Support – Utilizing our national network of consultants and professionals, we provide interim support services.
